Alexa Deluzio scored 15 of her 20 points in the second half to help No. 19 Florida State beat Georgia Tech 73-60 on Friday.

Courtney Ward added 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Seminoles (20-5, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who have won at least 20 games in each of the last three seasons. Cierra Bravard also scored 15 points.

Tyaunna Marshall had 18 points for Georgia Tech (18-8, 6-4), which has lost three straight.

Deluzio went 7 for 13 from the field, including 3 of 6 from 3-point range, as Florida State shot 52 percent overall.

The Seminoles grabbed control with an 11-4 surge midway through the second half. Ward and Bravard each had a three-point play and Deluzio's 3-pointer made it 55-44 with 7:51 left.

Sasha Goodlett had 12 points and Alex Montgomery finished with 10 for the Yellow Jackets, who shot 34.3 percent.

Goodlett's layup with 18 seconds left in the first half trimmed Florida State's lead to 29-28 at halftime.
