DaVon Haynes scored 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a 76-61 win over Prairie View A&M on Saturday.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (10-16, 8-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference) jumped out to an early lead with a 6-0 spurt and never trailed. They took a 33-20 advantage into the break and continued to pull away from the Panthers in the second half.

Marcel Mosley scored 20 points and Tevin Hammond added 13 for the Golden Lions, who hit 27 of 60 from the field to avenge their Jan. 25 loss to Prairie View A&M (8-17, 6-7). Pine Bluff has won six of its last seven games and hangs on to its third-place position in the SWAC standings.

Demondre Chapman led the Panthers with 20 points and 13 rebounds, Louis Munks added 14 points and Montrael Scott had 11 points.
