TORONTO (Reuters) - The Toronto Blue Jays acquired speedy outfielder Rajai Davis from the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday in a trade for minor league pitching prospects Trystan Magnuson and Danny Farquhar.
One of the fastest players in the major leagues, Davis hit .284 with five homers and 52 RBIs last season to go along with a career-high 50 stolen bases.
Neither Magnuson, a lanky six-foot, seven-inch right-handed reliever, nor Farquhar, who had 17 saves last season for Double A New Hampshire, have yet played in the majors.
