After missing the entire 2015 season while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, Texas Rangers starter Yu Darvish is ready to return to the mound.

In speaking with Jeff Wilson at the Fort-Worth Telegram, Darvish expressed his confidence in his health:

It has to be encouraging to the Rangers (and their fans) to hear Darvish will be reporting the rest of the pitchers and catchers. If all goes well, it's possible the 29-year-old will be available within the first month or two of the season. Upon return. Darvish will join a deep rotation consisting of Cole Hamels, Colby Lewis, Derek Holland, Martin Perez and Chi Chi Gonzalez.

Darvish last appeared in a game in August of 2014 -- that season he went 10-7 with a 3.06 ERA with 182 strikeouts in 144 1/3 innings pitched.
