Danica Patrick is back piloting a car on the IndyCar circuit -- at least for a couple of days.

Patrick began the two-day testing session for IndyCar drivers at Barber Motorsports Park on Wednesday afternoon after fielding questions from a group of business and community leaders.

Patrick was a little taken aback when she arrived for a "news" conference at the track and was greeted by a group heavy on dark suits and ties. She said she "thought this was a Q-and-A session" with the media, but then entertained the packed room by answering questions about how she balances her hectic schedule of NASCAR, IndyCar and endorsements.

Drivers will return to the 2.38-mile, 17-turn track in suburban Birmingham on April 11 for the inaugural Grand Prix of Alabama.
