When a rain delay for a race finally becomes an official postponement until the following day in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, drivers scatter.

Such was the case when the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 at Pocono Raceway, originally scheduled for Sunday, was posponed until Monday at noon ET, when it will be televised live on FS1.

Fans took to Twitter to ask some of their favorite Sprint Cup drivers what they intended to do with their sudden Sunday afternoons off.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. said he was going to grab some chicken wings and settle in with one of his favorite television shows. He also said he didn't mind NASCAR calling the race off after roughly a one-hour delay Sunday because of heavy, persistent rains and a forecast that called for much of the afternoon to be the same.

As for surviving in the fictional scenario depicted in the TV show Junior intended to binge on, NASCAR's most popular driver made it clear on Twitter that he could envision himself doing quite well -- although not as well as one of his fellow Sprint Cup competitors.

Then there was Brad Keselowski, who actually made quick plans to fly back home to see his daughter and do a little housekeeping -- only to learn that his dog is not too fond of a cardboard cutout of his owner that resides in the family basement.

All in all, no one seemed too upset about the one-day delay. After all, they'll be racing soon enough and the forecast for Monday in Long Pond, Pa., where Pocono Raceway is located, looks just fine.
