Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to terms with year deal with a mutual option Thursday.
Blanco, 40, batted .250 with eight home runs and 12 RBI in 37 games last season. Also, he threw out eight of 21 attempted basestealers.
Since breaking into the majors in 1997, he has played in 900 games and has batted .228 with 68 home runs and 277 RBI with nine different teams. He has caught 40.8 percent of attempted basestealers (237-of-581).
