MONSTER MILE ABOUT TO ROCK — Denny Hamlin will lead the field to the green flag in today’s FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks at Dover International Speedway.

Today’s race is the 13th of the year, which makes it the midpoint of NASCAR’s 26-race Sprint Cup regular season.

Hamlin will be going for his first victory of the season, while his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch already have combined to win five races so far this season.

Jimmie Johnson has seven victories in his career at Dover, which ties him for the most with Richard Petty and Bobby Allison. But Johnson will start from the 24th position today.

Kurt Busch was fastest in yesterday’s final Happy Hour practice, and he will roll off 13th.
