Coyotes recall Yip

Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forward Brandon Yip and assigned forward Tim Kennedy to the Portland Pirates on Tuesday.

Yip, who appeared in two games with the Pirates this season and had two assists, has appeared in 172 career NHL games and collected 29 goals and 27 assists.

Kennedy had two assists in four games with the Coyotes this season.
