Phoenix Coyotes defenseman Rostislav Klesla has been suspended for one game by the NHL for boarding Nashville Predators forward Matt Halischuk during the teams' Western Conference semifinal game Friday.

The NHL's Department of Player Safety made the announcement Sunday. The incident occurred at the 6:39 mark of the first period, when Klesla pushed Halischuk head-first into the boards.

The Coyotes lead the best-of-seven series, 3-1, with Game 5 slated for Monday.
