Irving, TX – The Dallas Cowboys signed linebacker Justin Durant to a two-year contract on Wednesday.
The Cowboys restructured the contract of quarterback Kyle Orton to create some cap space.
Durant, who has spent the past two seasons with the Lions, had 103 tackles in 16 games last year.
The 27-year-old played four years with the Jaguars before his stint with Detroit. He has 443 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks and two interceptions in 79 career games.
