The Dallas Cowboys might turn to a familiar face to shore up their defense.

According to NFL.com, the Cowboys are talking to linebacker Justin Durant regarding a potential reunion. Durant spent last season with the Falcons, finishing with 82 tackles in 13 games.

The nine-year veteran played the previous two seasons with the Cowboys, compiling 73 tackles in 16 games during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Durant can help a Cowboys defense that will be without Rolando McClain, who is suspended the first 10 games of 2016 for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Durant, 30, has 598 career tackles and 3 1/2 sacks.
