D.J. Covington scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Rodney Glasgow added 26 points as Virginia Military defeated Radford 88-76 on Saturday.

Covington, who had a career-high 33 points in his last game, made 10 of 13 shots and 9 of 12 free throws for the Keydets (17-10, 10-4 Big South). Glasgow made all eight of his free throws as VMI finished 21 of 29 from the line and shot 51 percent from the field after going 13 of 21 in the second half.

Javonte Green had 21 points for Radford (18-11, 8-6) with R.J. Price and Brandon Holcomb adding 11 each.

Price and Ya Ya Anderson, who average more than 11 points each, had one between them in the first half as the Highlanders fell behind 44-33. Anderson finished with no points, missing all eight of his shots.
