London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Chelsea revealed Thursday that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has signed a five-year extension with the Premier League club.
Courtois has been on the books at Chelsea since 2011 but spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
The Belgium international returned to England this summer and beat out Petr Cech for the starting job, signaling that the 22-year-old is very much the future 'keeper for the Blues.
