Despite an atrocious performance in their third exhibition game, the Browns believe there's time to correct their mistakes before their Sept. 7 opener at Pittsburgh.

Cleveland had issues all over the field in Saturday's 33-14 loss to St. Louis.

The offense gained just 178 total yards. The defense couldn't stop the Rams, giving up 472. There was little for Browns fans to be excited about other than the spectacular upgrades inside FirstEnergy Stadium.

Quarterback Brian Hoyer didn't change the opinion of some who feel rookie Johnny Manziel should be starting. Hoyer, though, didn't have Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon on the field and the team's top playmaker is likely to be suspended for part of the season.

Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron was "excused" from Monday's practice. Coach Mike Pettine did not provide details.
