Real Madrid introduced goalkeeper Keylor Navas after he signed a six-year contract with the Spanish club. Navas helped Costa Rica reach the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time this summer.

Madrid announced the deal Sunday after reaching an agreement with the Spanish club Levante that is reportedly worth $13.4 million.

Navas said Tuesday he has a chance to "learn from the best," with Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez already part of coach Carlo Ancelotti's first team. Madrid President Florentino Perez lauded Navas for his "brilliant career" before saying he now faces his "biggest challenge."

Navas was greeted by thousands of fans, many waving Costa Rica's flag, before he hurled balls into the Santiago Bernabeu stands.
