Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen went on an expletive-laden rant expressing his frustration with the team following Sunday’s brutal loss to the struggling New York Giants.

While the Giants snapped their four-game losing streak behind backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor, Washington suffered its fourth loss in just five games and managed just one rushing touchdown in the 14-7 loss.

The game was largely considered winnable for the Commanders – New York was last in the league in scoring, averaging 11.8 points, and had not scored an offensive touchdown in more than three games.

But two second-quarter touchdown passes by Taylor, six sacks by the Giants’ defense and a last-minute stand would upset that narrative.

"They whooped our a--. Plain and simple. Gotta be better," a visibly annoyed Allen told NBC4 Sports' JP Finlay in the locker room.

Allen, a two-time Pro Bowl tackle playing his seventh year with the Commanders, said the loss wasn’t about what New York did, but rather, what Washington didn’t do.

"I think it’s just a lack of focus on our part, a lack of attention to detail, not starting fast, and creating holes that are just too big for us to overcome in the second half."

Allen fumed when asked if he was frustrated by it, and went off on a colorful tirade.

"F--- yes it does. I’m f---ing tired of this s---. F---ing tired of this bulls---. It’s been seven f---ing years of the same s---. I’m tired of this s---."

The Commanders will head back home to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles, who they lost to 34-31 earlier this month when Jake Elliott kicked a 54-yard field goal in overtime.

Allen’s advice to his team on Sunday was just as blunt as his previous remarks.

"Get our minds right and get f---ing ready to play Philadelphia."
