INDIANAPOLIS (AP) The Indianapolis Colts have added receiver Quan Bray to the active roster and waived backup safety Dewey McDonald.

They announced the moves on Tuesday.

Indianapolis (3-4) needed another receiver after first-round draft pick Phillip Dorsett broke his left leg in the first half of Sunday's loss to New Orleans. Dorsett is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Bray, a 5-foot-10, 182-pound undrafted rookie, made the practice squad after impressing coaches during the preseason.

McDonald was signed to Indy's practice squad after the final cuts in September and stayed there until being promoted to the active roster last week. He played on special teams on Sunday.
