Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis in on track to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans after passing the NFL's concussion protocol.

"I feel a lot better," Davis said Thursday, per ESPN. "Just getting back in practice and working with my teammates."

The Pro Bowl cornerback was hurt making a tackle late in the first half of the Colts' Monday night loss to the New York Jets.

A return by Davis would be a major boost for a depleted Indianapolis secondary. Starting corner Greg Toler is considered "week to week" with a neck injury and backup Darius Butler sat out against Jets with hip injury. Butler has yet to practice this week either.
