There weren't too many positives to take away from the 49ers loss to the Steelers.

Even for the few bright spots, it still didn't sit will with Colin Kaepernick.

The signal caller totaled 335 passing yards with two touchdowns, though much of that production came when the game was already decided.

However, the 49ers as a whole - on both sides of the ball - struggled mightily, whether it was due in part to coming off a short week or traveling two time zones for an early start.

Regardless, Kaepernick wasn't one to dwell on the performance in spite of the statistical numbers next to his name in the box score.

"There's things in this game that we can take away as positives," Kaepernick said, via ESPN. "But we don't play for moral victories."
