Vanderbilt quarterback Patton Robinette is recovering from a concussion and is questionable for the Commodores' first road game this season at Kentucky.

Coach Derek Mason said Tuesday that a quarterback playing in the Southeastern Conference needs to be 100 percent and someone dealing with a concussion needs to be fully past the injury to return. The coach says a doctor will decide when Robinette has recovered enough to return to the field.

The Commodores (1-3, 0-2) were up 14-0 with Robinette starting against then-No. 14 South Carolina, and he got hurt on a run play just before throwing a touchdown pass last week. Freshman Wade Freebeck replaced Robinette and would start if the redshirt sophomore isn't cleared.
