Trevon Harmon scored 22 points and Norris Cole added 18 to lead Cleveland State to an 81-69 victory over Detroit on Thursday night.

The Vikings (17-3, 6-2 Horizon League) trailed 12-11 near the midway point of the opening half, but scored six straight and went on a 18-6 run to take a 29-18 lead with 5:51 left before halftime.

Cleveland State led 39-32 at the break despite being outscored 22-16 in the paint and 14-5 on second-chance points.

The Titans (10-10, 4-4) pulled in front 60-59 on a free throw from Ray McCallum with 8:05 to go. The Vikings outscored Detroit 22-9 the rest of the way as the Titans went nearly 6 minutes without a field goal.

Eli Holman and Nick Minnerath each scored 16 and McCallum finished with 11 for Detroit. Holman also grabbed 14 rebounds.

Tim Kamczyc added 10 points for the Vikings, who shot 50 percent from the floor (25 of 50).
