On the heels of their biggest win of the season, the Tigers got some bad news this week as it looks like star wide receiver Mike Williams will not return for the rest of the regular season. Clemson, who just rose to No. 6 in the AP Poll after beating Notre Dame, is still holding on to hope that the junior receiver can make it back for a bowl game.

Aaron Brenner of the Post & Courier tweeted that according to Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott, Williams is 'likely' out for the rest of the season.

The 6-4, 210-pound Williams sustained a small neck fracture when he collided into the goal post while making a touchdown catch during Clemson's first game of the year against Wofford.

Last year, Williams caught 57 passes for 1,030 yards and six touchdowns.
