Carson, CA – Chivas USA signed 16-year-old Marco Antonio Delgado as a Homegrown Player on Tuesday.
Delgado, a midfielder, will be available for selection once he has fulfilled all Homegrown Player training requirements in August.
"I am really excited to have Marky Delgado become part of our first team. He is a player who has done so well for our youth team since he has been with us," said Chivas USA coach Robin Fraser.
"He is definitely one that we expect a bright future from."
Delgado has played for the United States at the youth level. Per Major League Soccer and team policy, details of the contract were not revealed.
