The Chiefs thought Dee Ford cracked a rib last week against the Seahawks.
This week, the highly-regarded linebacker will suit up against the Titans after tests revealed he's totally fine.
"He just had a bruise, it was just a bruise," head coach Reid told reporters. "Initially, it looked like that on the MRI, but it wasn't a break once they looked at it."
A bruised rib is better than a broken rib. And Ford was having a decent game until Seattle running back Christine Michael came in with a nasty chip block.
It wasn't nasty enough to sideline the former first-rounder, though. He'll hold up his end of the outside linebacker rotation opposite Justin Houston and swap out with Tamba Hali.
