Kansas City, MO – Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher, a restricted free agent, has decided to sign the club's tender offer.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Star reported it is a one-year deal worth $1.927 million.
The 24-year-old Long Island native compiled 87 tackles in 16 games last season, his third with the franchise.
An undrafted free agent out of the University of Maine, Belcher has totaled 218 tackles and one sack in 48 games.
