If you want Chicago Cubs playoff tickets, you better get your lucky rabbit foot out.

The team announced details Thursday for fans who want the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to potential postseason games at Wrigley Field -- and it involves a little bit of luck.

Fans will have to register at Cubs.com/postseason for a random drawing to win a chance to purchase tickets for a potential National League wild-card game and NL Division Series game.

Registration opened online at 9 a.m. Thursday and will end at noon CT on Sept. 23.

Fans who are selected in the drawing will be notified via email before tickets go on sale, and will get the chance to purchase up to four tickets for a game at Wrigley Field. Fans will only be able to buy tickets once during the postseason.

The postseason single-game ticket on-sale date and pricing will be announced at a later time.

There will be further drawings with different registration dates for future potential series, according to a Cubs news release.
