Omar Wattad scored 26 points to lead Chattanooga to a 70-65 win over North Carolina Greensboro on Saturday, extending its school-record losing streak to 15 games.

The Mocs (8-8, 4-0 Southern Conference) led 27-12 with 6:14 remaining in the opening half and took a 38-27 lead into halftime.

Chattanooga led 42-27 at the 18:40 mark of the second half, but a 17-5 run by the Spartans pulled them within three, 47-44, with 12:29 left to play.

A jumper from Henry Aloysius tied the score at 63 with 1:34 to go, but the Mocs made a jumper and were 5 of 6 from the free-throw line to seal the victory.

Ricky Taylor scored 19 points and Keegan Bell added 13 for Chattanooga.

Aloysius led UNC Greesnboro (0-14, 0-4) with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Random scored 13 points and Brian Cole 10 for the Spartans, who have lost 15 consecutive games dating back to last season.
