San Diego, CA – The San Diego Chargers have signed safety year contract.
The team announced the signing Wednesday, also placing rookie linebacker Jonas Mouton on injured reserve.
Oliver played for the Chargers from 2007-10, starting 11 of his 44 games and registering 126 tackles, three interceptions and one sack. He started eight games last season.
The New Orleans Saints signed Oliver, but released him after training camp.
