SAN DIEGO – Applause rose at the end of the San Diego Chargers' practice on Wednesday as the players inched closer to a four-day break.
Was it directed toward Chargers coach Mike McCoy?
McCoy says the players were probably just excited to get away from coaches.
Wednesday's 30-minute practice was more than just stretching and light running. While the Chargers have the NFL's fifth-ranked offense, there are issues with their red zone production.
So the offense reviewed every red zone snap before practice.
