Glasgow, Scotland – Celtic signed 18-year-old striker Tony Watt to a new four-year contract Thursday, just over a week after he scored the winning goal in a Champions League victory over Barcelona.
Watt came off the bench to scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win over Barcelona last week, giving the Scottish club hope of advancing to the knockout stage.
"I'm delighted to have signed this new contract," Watt told Celtic's website. "I'm a Celtic fan and this is where I want to play my football."
Watt started his career with Celtic with two goals against Motherwell, and has six goals this season in all competitions.
