SEATTLE – Cornerback Walter Thurmond will not be making his season debut for the Seattle Seahawks after being activated from the physically unable to perform list.
Thurmond is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets. Seattle was already without linebacker K.J. Wright and guard James Carpenter, both out with concussions. The Seahawks also are minus reserve defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, who was questionable with a groin injury.
The Jets made backup outside linebacker Aaron Maybin inactive. New York had already announced that reserve running back Joe McKnight and nose tackle Kendrick Ellis would not play. McKnight has an ankle injury and Ellis a knee injury.
