Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Tamika Catchings' layup with 5.2 seconds left was the difference, as the Indiana Fever survived a late push from the Tulsa Shock to earn a 78-76 win on Tuesday.
Indiana led by as many as 15 points early in the fourth quarter before Skylar Diggins and the Shock came rushing back. Diggins netted 10 of her team-high 23 points -- all on free throws -- in the final quarter.
A late 7-0 flurry, which Courtney Paris capped with her layup with 16.7 seconds showing, tied the score at 76-all. Indiana called a timeout and went to the veteran Catchings, who delivered the eventual game-winner as Glory Johnson's last second layup attempt at the other end was off the mark.
Catchings scored 23 with 11 rebounds to pace Indiana, while Shavonte Zellous added 18 points.
