St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton exited Thursday's game against the St. Louis Rams with a right knee injury.

Stanton suffered the injury on a sack from Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald midway through the third quarter. The Cardinals signal-caller stayed on the ground before hobbling off the field moments later.

He was carted off to the locker room and did not return.

Stanton, who was 12-of-20 for 109 yards before exiting, started his fourth straight game after Carson Palmer tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in a 31-14 win over the Rams on Nov. 9.

Ryan Lindley replaced Stanton at quarterback.
