Chattanooga, TN – Miguel Carballo recorded three eagles under 64 and a come-from-behind victory at the Children's Hospital Classic.
Carballo finished at 24-under 264 and won the title, his second on the Nationwide Tour, by two strokes at Black Creek Mountain.
Carballo's lone tour win before Sunday came at the 2007 Panama Championship. He lost a playoff two weeks ago at the Soboba Golf Classic, but finally returned to the winner's circle.
Brice Garnett shot a five-under 67 and took second at minus-22. Aaron Goldberg carded a seven-under 65 and came in third at 21-under 267.
Matt Every (67) took fourth at 19-under 269, followed by B.J. Staten, who shot a five-under 67 on Sunday and came in fifth at minus-18.
Third-round leader John Mallinger flew out of the gate with birdies at two and three, but trouble loomed. He bogeyed the fifth, four-putted the sixth for double-bogey, hit out of bounds to set up another double-bogey at seven and doubled the ninth.
He finished with a three-over 75 and fell into a share of sixth at minus-17.
