Candace Parker scores 18 points, Kristi Toliver adds 15 to lead Sparks over Sky 80-76

Candace Parker had 18 points and seven rebounds, Kristi Toliver scored 15 and the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Chicago Sky 80-76 on Tuesday night.

Reserve Jantel Lavender added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Sparks (17-7), who won their fifth straight game and moved a game behind Western Conference-leading Minnesota.

Chicago rookie Elena Delle Donne, the league's fourth-leading scorer, did not play in the second half because of a left foot injury. There was no immediate update on her status.

Sylvia Fowles led the Sky (15-8) with 22 points and nine rebounds. Fowles scored 10 in the fourth quarter and pulled Chicago to 77-76 on a three-point play and a basket inside.
