Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty left Saturday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes with a lower-body injury after crashing into the goal post with 7:30 remaining in the first period.

Pacioretty skated to the net from the left side and was hit into the goal post by Carolina defenseman Brett Bellemore. He stayed down in pain for a few minutes and was eventually helped off the ice by a trainer. No penalty was called on the play.

The U.S. Olympian has 26 goals and 11 assists for the Canadiens this season and supplied a hat trick in a 5-2 win over Vancouver on Thursday.
