Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Milwaukee Bucks swingman Carlos Delfino had a successful procedure performed on his injured right foot Saturday, the team has announced.

Delfino, who has yet to play this season while recovering from a previous surgery on his foot he underwent back in May, will be placed on non-bearing weight restrictions over the next eight weeks before being evaluated further. The veteran's timetable for a return to the court is still undetermined.

The Bucks signed Delfino, who previously played for the club from 2009-12, to a reported three-year contract over the summer shortly after he was waived by the Houston Rockets. The native Argentinian averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 67 games last season.

Delfino averaged 10.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 36.6 percent from 3-point range during his prior three-year stint with Milwaukee.
