The 15-time Grand Slam champion and reigning Wimbledon titlist Bryans are two- time French Open champs, including last year. They first titled here back in 2003.
Another upset came when Croat Marin Draganja and Romanian Florin Mergea took out the third-seeded tandem of Canadian Daniel Nestor and Serb Ninad Zimonjic, 6-7 (2-7), 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).
