Bryan Maley hit a 45-yard game-winning field goal with four seconds remaining to lift Wagner (2-4, 1-1) over unbeaten Sacred Heart 23-20 in a Northeast Conference game on Saturday.

Maley hit two 45-yarders among three field goals on the day as the Seahawks survived a 17-point, fourth-quarter rally that saw Sacred Heart (5-1, 0-1) tie the game at 20-20 with two minutes to go. After falling behind early, Wagner's defense stopped Sacred Heart on its next eight drives, forcing five punts and three fumbles.

Dominique Williams rushed for a game-high 108 yards and a touchdown for Wagner, and Mike Mentor returned a fumble 23 yards for a score after Sacred Heart's RJ Noel was sacked. Noel passed for 212 yards and a pair of TDs, both in the fourth quarter as the Pioneers came back. Chris Rogers added a 31-yard field goal for the short-lived tie at 2:02.
