The Boston Bruins have signed center David year contract extension through the 2014-15 season.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Krejci has four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 20 games for the Bruins this season. He has tied for the team's scoring lead in each of the past two seasons.

The 25-year-old Czech native helped Boston to the Stanley Cup title last spring as the playoff scoring leader with 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points in 25 games. He was the first Bruin to lead the NHL in playoff points since Phil Esposito and Bobby Orr shared the honor in Boston's previous Cup run of 1972.

Four of his 12 goals last spring were winners, including three during the Eastern Conference semifinals against Philadelphia.

Krejci has appeared in 318 regular-season games, all with Boston, and has compiled 62 goals with 165 assists for 227 points. He has added 19 goals and 44 points in 52 career playoff games.

The Bruins selected Krejci in the second round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
