Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cleveland Browns signed defensive lineman Brian Sanford on Thursday.
The 26-year-old Sanford appeared in five games this season with one start for the Oakland Raiders, where he registered seven total tackles.
Sanford filled the roster spot that was left vacant when wide receiver Davone Bess was placed on the non-football injury list.
