Englewood, CO – Willis McGahee, enjoying a revitalization 15 overtime victory over Miami.
The Broncos running back will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a fractured fourth metacarpal in his right hand. He suffered the injury in the third quarter against the Dolphins when he was well on his way to another 100-yard rushing game. He finished the game with 18 carries for 76 yards.
McGahee has rushed for 460 yards and one touchdown this season, averaging 4.5 yards per carry, to go along with 11 catches for 49 yards and another score.
The Broncos will likely mix-and-match Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball during McGahee's absence. Jeremiah Johnson is another running back currently on the practice squad.
