Broncos coach John Fox sends ill kicker Matt Prater home again to keep team from getting sick

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Denver Broncos coach John Fox sent kicker Matt Prater home again Saturday so he doesn't get the rest of the team sick.

Prater has missed all three of the team's practices this week as the Broncos prepare for the Super Bowl against Seattle on Feb. 2 at MefLife Stadium.

The Broncos fly to New Jersey on Sunday, and Prater is expected to be on that flight.

Prater converted 25 of 26 field goals in the regular season and all five of his tries in the playoffs.

He's also converted all 80 of his extra-point kicks. His only missed was a 52-yard field goal attempt at Kansas City on Dec. 1 that sailed wide left.
