Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter's return to the field lasted only three plays as he left with a concussion in the first quarter Sunday against Cleveland.

Porter was banged up in a collision with Josh Gordon after the Browns receiver caught a pass for a short gain. Porter's mouthpiece appeared to go flying through the air after the hit and he stayed down for a brief moment, before walking toward the bench. He talked to the trainers and then headed into the locker room.

The team later announced he wouldn't return to the game.

Porter has missed nine straight games after experiencing symptoms similar to those he had last summer that preceded a seizure. This was his first action since a six-tackle performance at New England on Oct. 7.
