The Atlanta Braves recalled catcher J.C. Boscan and outfielder Jose Constanza from Triple-A Gwinnett and purchased the contracts of outfielder Lyle Overbay and pitcher Peter Moylan from Gwinnett.

Moylan returns to the majors for the first time in a year. He had shoulder surgery almost 11 months ago.

In 21 games at four levels of the minor leagues this season, Moylan went 1-1 with a 6.35 ERA.

Overbay, who signed a minor league contract with the Braves last month, hit .292 with two homers and 10 RBI in 45 games for Arizona this season.

Atlanta also added infielder Jeff Baker to the active roster. Atlanta acquired Baker from the Tigers on Friday.
