Atlanta Braves starter Brandon Beachy is headed back to visit Dr. James Andrews to have his right arm examined.

Beachy, who underwent Tommy John surgery last year, noticed a dip in his velocity on Tuesday against the New York Mets and will miss his next outing against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday.

Andrews will visit with Beachy on Monday, and Mike Minor will make Beachy's scheduled start on Sunday.

Beachy made the long recovery back from Tommy John surgery on July 29 and has gone 2-1 with a 4.50 ERA in five starts with the Braves this season.
