Ryan Braun went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and Zack Greinke remained undefeated at Miller Park, as Milwaukee edged the Houston Astros, 6-5, in the opener of a three-game series.

Greinke (2-1) struck out nine over his six-inning start and allowed two runs on eight hits while improving to 13-0 in 18 home starts dating back to last season. The Brewers, who were coming off a series loss to the Rockies, have won all 18 of those starts.

Brian Bogusevic drove in three runs and Jed Lowrie went 2-for-5 with a solo homer for the Astros, who were coming off a 12-0 win over the Dodgers.

Lucas Harrell (1-1) surrendered five runs on five hits and three walks over five innings to take the loss.
