Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Red Sox on Friday recalled outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. and pitcher Drake Britton from Triple-A Pawtucket.
Bradley, 24, hit. 216 with one home run, 19 doubles, two triples and 30 RBI over 112 games with the BoSox until being sent to the minors on Aug. 18.
Britton will experience his second major-league stint. He was recalled on May 1 as the 26th man on the roster for a doubleheader against Tampa Bay, but did not appear before returning to the PawSox.
