Trevone Boykin is a Heisman candidate and he's also the best player in the Big 12 Conference.
The first part is fact, the second part is a bit subjective, but according to an ESPN poll, Boykin is ranked No. 5 in the nation in a recent top-100 players list of the best in college football.
Joey Bosa, the Ohio State defensive end is ranked No. 1. Here's the entire list.

No. 21 -- Baylor defensive end Shawn Oakman
No. 32 -- Baylor offensive tackle Spencer Drango

No. 55 -- Baylor receiver Corey Coleman
No. 63 -- TCU receiver Josh Doctson
No. 66 -- Baylor QB Seth Russell
No. 95 -- Oklahoma cornerback Zack Sanchez
No. 98 -- Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings
No. 98 -- Baylor running back Shock Linwood
